A successful construction project is built on trust and good communication.
As a builder, it’s our goal to provide our clients with a tailored experience because we understand that every project is unique, and so is every customer. In order for us to do this, we need to be on the same page.
MANAGING EXPECTATIONS
Communicating your budget is essential for us to manage expectations throughout the project, but also tailor the design to something you are comfortable paying for. It is a lot easier for us to collaboratively design towards a budget, rather than budgeting toward a design.
We understand that being open and honest about your budget to a complete stranger can be nerve-racking. Its normal to fear that you will be taken advantage of but rest assured, it is in your best interest. If you are hesitant to share, suggest a range that you would be comfortable working within.
When we know your budget, it prevents us from presenting you with a proposal way out of your price range, you fall in love with it, and then us disappointing you saying that it’s not possible. Ultimately, it saves time, headaches and confusion for you and your contractor.
YOU’RE IN CONTROL
Communicating your budget gives us a target to hit and we’re able to then value engineer the scope, and provide you with different options so you have the control as to where your money is being spent.
Wherever possible, we like to include “Good, Better, Best” options which allow you to see the possibilities and how they will affect the overall price of the job.
